About Travel Cashier
We are a currency exchange counter at Westfield Stratford in London. We sell travel money for collection the same day, and we buy back the notes you come home with.
What we do
One counter, one rate, no fee on top
Travel money is a small purchase that is easy to get wrong. The rate on the sign is not always the rate at the till, the commission is added after you have committed, and the leftover notes sit in a drawer for years. We built this counter to remove all three of those.
The rate you see on this site is the rate we exchange at. There is no commission, no handling fee and no admin charge — the figure quoted is the figure you get, and it is the same figure on the board above the counter.
You can reserve online in about a minute. No card is needed to hold today's rate: you pay and collect at the counter in Westfield Stratford, usually the same day. If your plans change, the reservation costs you nothing.
When you get back, bring the notes you did not spend. We buy currency back at the day's buy-back rate, which is published on the same page as the rate you bought at.

- Free, and no card is needed. Reserve online to hold today's rate, then pay at the counter when you collect.
- Collection
- Click and collect only — currency ordered on this website is handed over in store. Bring photo ID and your order reference.
- Buy-back
- We buy back the notes you did not spend at the day's buy-back rate. We cannot take coins or badly damaged notes.
